Holy Book
Holy Book Megabonk – Explained
Holy Book provides defensive stats and converts healing into damage.
It creates a circle around you when it activates and any enemies inside the circle takes damage
How it works:
- Holy Book gives you +100 Max HP and +50 HP Regen per copy
- It also gives you +25% Overheal capacity per copy
- When you heal (from any source), Holy Book tracks the amount healed
- Periodically, it converts accumulated healing into damage that radiates to nearby enemies
- The damage is dealt to all enemies within a radius around you
Radiating damage mechanics:
- Holy Book accumulates healing received each tick
- Every 1.5 seconds (cooldown), it releases the accumulated healing as damage
- The damage radiates to all enemies within the radius
- Damage formula:
- The radius scales with copies and your size stat (see "How it Stacks" below)
- Holy book can proc a bunch of other items like the big bonk, the Ice Cube and a bunch of other items with proccing chances. It has a proc coefficient of 0.5
- The damage is based on your player level and the amount healed
- More healing = more damage per pulse

How it Stacks
Holy Book has multiple scaling stats:
Each copy increases your maximum HP:
Where $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
Examples:
- 1 copy → +100 Max HP
- 2 copies → +200 Max HP
- 3 copies → +300 Max HP
- 5 copies → +500 Max HP
Each copy increases your HP regeneration:
Where $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
Examples:
- 1 copy → +50 HP Regen
- 2 copies → +100 HP Regen
- 3 copies → +150 HP Regen
- 5 copies → +250 HP Regen
Each copy increases your maximum overheal capacity:
Where $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
Examples:
- 1 copy → +25% overheal capacity
- 2 copies → +50% overheal capacity
- 3 copies → +75% overheal capacity
- 5 copies → +125% overheal capacity
The radius of the radiating damage scales with both copies and your size stat:
Where
- $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
- $ S $ = your size stat multiplier
Examples at different sizes:
- Cooldown: Always 1.5 seconds (does not scale with copies)
- Damage multiplier: Always 0.5× base damage per point of healing (does not scale with copies)
Key points:
- Max HP, HP Regen, and Overheal scale linearly
- Damage radius scales linearly with copies and size stat
- Cooldown and damage multiplier are fixed
- More copies = larger radius and more healing (which means more damage)
1. Max HP (Linear Scaling)
Each copy increases your maximum HP:
$$
\text{MaxHP}(n) = 100n
$$
Where $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
Examples:
- 1 copy → +100 Max HP
- 2 copies → +200 Max HP
- 3 copies → +300 Max HP
- 5 copies → +500 Max HP
2. HP Regen (Linear Scaling)
Each copy increases your HP regeneration:
$$
\text{HPRegen}(n) = 50n
$$
Where $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
Examples:
- 1 copy → +50 HP Regen
- 2 copies → +100 HP Regen
- 3 copies → +150 HP Regen
- 5 copies → +250 HP Regen
3. Overheal Capacity (Linear Scaling)
Each copy increases your maximum overheal capacity:
$$
\text{Overheal}(n) = 0.25n
$$
Where $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
Examples:
- 1 copy → +25% overheal capacity
- 2 copies → +50% overheal capacity
- 3 copies → +75% overheal capacity
- 5 copies → +125% overheal capacity
4. Damage Radius (Size-Dependent Linear Scaling)
The radius of the radiating damage scales with both copies and your size stat:
$$
\text{Radius}(n, S) = (5 + n) \times S
$$
Where
- $ n $ = number of Holy Book copies
- $ S $ = your size stat multiplier
Examples at different sizes:
5. Fixed Values
